I've had great service from them but only order via phone. Never ebay or web site. You only get the forum discount if you call... so hey.

Hmm 🤔 makes me wonder... I just placed my first order with them earlier this week. Spoke with mike, very helpful and gave me a discount. Hopefully everything will be fine with my order..

I need to clarify,

i am not posting about the initial bad service, i get it, it happens to everyone at some point.

My issue and post is about them banning me from buying anything further from them through ebay. Seems like a immature response. In My business if i have someone that unhappy i go the extra mile to turn their experience into a positive one.

Had i gotten something from the t least apologizing, expedited shipping, anything other than a message wanting me to remove the negative feedback, i may have reconsidered leaving it... Then to ban me from buying from them.... that's little over the top.

for what it's worth, i have ordered from them many times with good results.

i have called directly and used their website to order and almost always received my orders earlier than anticipated.

I always call Lucky 8. They are good guys to talk to, and I love the enthusiasm that they have for Rovers. I had an issue with not getting all the parts I ordered once, but they rectified it. I have not had any issues with them being petulant.

I can't say I've had any "negative" experiences to that extent. I've placed many orders through them online and one large order via phone (ashcroft locker, air compressor, and a few small items). Everything ordered online showed up days before expected delivery date, the one phone order showed up almost a week late and really put a crunch on my time to prep for my Moab trip (I have every other Friday off so missing those long weekends is a big deal to me). That being said I'll still continue ordering from them if the price is right...

If u want your order correct and professionalism Rovers North is your best option, but Lucky 8 beats them in price.

I gave Lucky8 another shot after 2 bad transactions in the past. Stuff showed up pretty quick & it was the correct brand and in it’s OEM packaging vs just tossed into a bag.

I expect that there will always be an issue or two with the people selling me stuff. However, I do want to know more about why OP was banned from buying.

OP - Can you share the feedback you left?

I would like to add our side of this story if we may:

When the OP placed their order, we did in fact lose it in the process of transcribing orders from eBay to our shipping program as we let the user know. We had been in contact with you via several eBay messages, so to say we didn't speak with you is false. You claimed to receive an empty envelope when we shipped your $8 key, so we in good faith sent a 2nd. If you think about it, we are selling something for $8/delivered. We cover shipping and eBay fees. There is hardly anything left over with such a small transaction, yet we still paid for and shipped a 2nd key. The only better service I could offer is to deliver it in person. It is company policy to block users who leave negative feedback before the transaction is complete. eBay even agreed that the feedback you left was unjust and removed it as it was against their user policy.

Thank you to everyone who left kind and supportive remarks. Some of you have been around with us since the beginning in 2006 and we appreciate your continued support and we look forward to keeping up the demand and wheeling with you and sponsoring your future events and this forum.
