Not that dramatic
It's leaning against the power pole.. the props are virtually cosmetic.
Man's gotta do what he's gotta do. Poor blighter.

Well, I mean, at least he's chocked the wheels.

That said, he's welding right next to the gas tank on a truck held up by a couple of 2x4's. Not sure which is worse.

Yep Racer X.. I take your point about welding.. However it could be a diesel.

Earlier in my life I was a farmer for about 1/4 century. Interesting lifestyle when money's scarce. The things you need to do to scrape by! And yes, when younger I discovered how difficult it is to remove fumes from a petrol tank that you need to weld. Rinse, rinse, rinse; leave it in the sun and rinse, rinse again. Wave the torch over the filler and BOOM! the tank flies a few metres. But then it's safe and you weld without further surprises.. Poor bloke - literally in the gutter.

Early 1960s a mate's dad had a petrol station. For years the old man smoked while filling customers' cars. Till one day..

He lived, but he didn't have a petrol station - or the same face - any more.
