Default used LR4!! is it worth the buy??

Hey guys, my parents are looking into purchasing me a used 2011 or so LR4 for graduation. I have already had general oil and gas prices thought about, but I am wondering about reliability. We are looking for them with miles around 50K and i just want to know of any of yall have had problems passed 50k miles thanks

I can't vouch for the V8 gas version but I have an LR4 TD6 (Discovery 4) and it's the best Disco I've ever owned for internal size and general comfort, it matches the D2 in all respects. Of course it's like all vehicles, you only need one if you can use it as such but bearing in mind it takes a lot of fuel (thirsty beast) and overall maintenance far more than everyday vehicles like VW or BMW. A 2011 was an early version so it may have some 'teething' issues but generally it's based upon the LR3 which wasn't perfect but by far the best Disco of it's time.
