Default Way off topic question

Does anyone here do home HVAC work? I have a HVAC system that has an automatic air recirculation feature which would be nice if it worked properly, but it is constantly staying on. If anyone could suggest which wire I could try to undo from the control panel circuit board to turn this off that would be great.

Don't have a clue about the wiring, but do you have a timer attached to yours? It might have gotten goofed up?

Its all in the control panel. I'd just install a different control panel but its a dual zone system for my 2 story house.

Sorry man, no clue, I figured someone smart might have chimed in by now. Mine's a on a timer so that would have been the first place I would have checked...maybe there is a HVAC Enthusiast Forum out there somewhere you could join Good luck!

The fan itself(assuming you have access to it) should have a connector you can unplud if you need it off for a few days until you can find the problem. Most likely you have a problem with a temp switch.(I'm only quessing since all I work with are oil furnaces and wood stoves up here...we don't have A/C up here....so no dual zone stuff)

I'll probably just call an HVAC person when I have some extra cash. The issues is I can't disable the fan because it is the same one that runs to circulate the warm air when the heater kicks on. I just need the recirculation feature disabled. I'm considering installing a "dumb" controller that only samples the temp at the controller and has no recirculation feature.
