Talking What would your dream overland convoy look like?

So money and legal laws set aside completely, what would your dream overland convoy caravan look like? How many vehicles would make up your convoy? What make and models? What type of setups would you use?

Over the years as I learn more about my specific vehicle, the overlanding lifestyle and about other overland friendly vehicles not offered on our shores I become more open minded and a more clear picture emerges of what my ideal convoy setup would look like in a perfect world. My ideal overland convoy would consist of 3 vehicles fully equipped with all the basic **** needed for global overland trips.

#1: My 2004 Land Rover Discovery II. Having just invested over $10k and with a new reliable block installed my only complaint is that this model is not longer!

#2: Land Rover Defender 130 with Camper Conversion:

#3: Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series Troop Carrier with Camper Conversion:

As much as I like my D2, and wouldn't mind a convoy of 'em, I think that the current 70-series Land Cruiser would be my go-to. I'm pretty partial to the double-cab pickup variant with the V8 turbo-diesel and 5-speed manual. The back end of those trucks can be outfitted with all sorts of items, or replaced with a specialty box. I really, really wish they were available stateside.
