What are your other interests/passions? Auto brands or ???
I really consider myself more of a Chevy guy, but I've ended up with a few of these old 1st gen Dodges. This one is "Lazarus", my first pre-fuel injection vehicle. I've had it about three years now. It had sat in a neighbor's field for 15 years, I worked on the thing for 45 minutes and drove it home on 3 tires.
It started life as a 318/automatic. Since then it's been swapped to a 10.5:1 compression roller cam 318 with big ported out heads and a granny gear 4 speed (NP435). Thats been a good setup, but I'm currently building a 360 Magnum to go in it along with an NV4500 5 speed. She's also in the middle of a 3/4 ton swap and I'm on the hunt for an extended cab to go on it.
I'll get down with about any vehicle, but other than Land Rover's it's pretty much domestic old iron for me. Can't get enough of old carb'd V8s.
Here's a picture of Laz high centered on the axles, buddy's disco in the background.

Outside of vehicles, I'm a big music buff. I don't play as often or as well as I'd like, but here's the most recent addition to my guitar collection. This makes #7. This was my Christmas. I like listening to music about as well as I like playing it.

got into rovers as a means to access areas that your average person can't or won't go as I really enjoy camping/fishing/hunting (we have 2 Vizslas and try to get out and hunt them as much as schedules allow each fall/winter) with just my wife and dogs or a small group and not half of Denver...which is only more important this past year with COVID and everyone deciding they are going to go explore.
Thanks all for posting! I must have missed a notification along the way and hadn't realized there were so many responses.
In the mean time since I posted, I picked up another Triumph mc (a Scrambler this time, similar on/off road application as my D1), and an old Merc diesel, a 1981 300SD. Just to play around with, really.
Neat to see what others enjoy, especially the non-LR stuff.

I picked up my D2 recently as a means to get to more remote backpacking locations. I've been a fan of them for a long time so I figured I should get one before they blow up in price too much.
I'm a pretty big BMW fan having owned various ones back to the e30. I have a 997 C4s which was my daily driver / road trip car / track car for about 1.5 years. Don't have much space for a collection living in SF but really needed something to get to areas that needed high clearance and 4wd since a lot of trails have been heavily impacted in the past year due to more folks being outdoors. Its great that people are going outdoors to enjoy it but also it makes it tough when backpacking my primary way of getting away from people haha!

I'm still in the stage of life in which everything with a motor still needs a purpose rather than just passion. Other than my '10 LR4 I have a '12 F-150 (5.0 V8 of course) and a small John Deere diesel tractor that take up my wrench time. Just recently changed the oil on the truck, and every time I curse why Ford didn't use the same oil filter design they had with the AJ-V8. Oh well, I need a truck with the amount of hunting I do, my wife was not impressed when I had an idea of using a plastic ice fishing sled to transport a deer in the back of the LR4.
