Has anyone heard from him? I haven't seen him posting recently.

Time to revive this thread? I've been away for a while until recently, but I searched for news about Disco Mike and found none. His last post was 8/20/14. Did I miss something?

I respect the opinion expressed by others previously that we should respect Mike's privacy, but ... he is a "public figure" on this and other forums and while we should not disturb him he is missed by many and owed a debt of gratitude by many more.

Yes, his unbiased opinion and willingness to learn from his mistakes/other's input is deeply missed.

It would be nice to have him around. I have certainly benefited from his old post for several years. I once pm'd him about a year ago asking if he would field a phone call in regards to some questions on some work I was about to undertake. Anyhow I can't wait for the day to see him post again, he brings a lot to all the lr forums. ( not to discount the help that spike and savannah buzz and many others bring to the forum).

I believe he got tired of people asking his advise and then making him quantify his answers, cant blame him.

You know this for sure first hand? I know people always did challenge him but I think those were people who couldn't follow instructions unless they were printed in the rave manual.

Wherever DiscoMike is Happy Holidays to him. I got a lot of good advice from him, and he walked me through sourcing a new motor over the phone.
