Default Why?

I'm a person that asks 'why' a lot. I probably can get quite irritating at times (like a petulant child) but it's in my nature. I like nature too - that's why I named myself 'landlover_1'. Why did you choose your name to be what it is on this forum? I see so many different names on here everyday and that is what pops into my head. Why? Did you read the back of a cereal box when you chose your name? Did you think of a long lost lover? Did you fret over it for a week and then have an amazing dream and wake up in the middle of the night with an epiphany? Did you go on vacation and bring back a memory? Did you name yourself after your very first car? Did you look around the room and pick out an object and name yourself after that? Did you name yourself after your favorite color, band, treat? You get the idea.. Please introduce yourselves. I'm a good friend. Serious and stupid replies only please.....

and honest too!

No really.. it's a great name and I thank you for replying! This thread has been read over 23 times now and you're one of 23 that chose to respond. Talk about OCD.. me checking this thread

Isn't anyone else curious about the names on here? Why so secretive? I'm going to put some people on the spot (which is bad, bad, bad....) but I see names like 'Dr. Mordo, and Antichrist, Shiftonthefly, who else.. TripleThreat, Screaminglife, Birdsintheparkinglot (no not really)..purpleplaze?, etc.' and wonder how one came about naming themselves this on the forum. I'm sure there is an interesting story....

Come on..... live a little!

My hs mascot was the tigers, I was a great track guy so I've had this name for awhile now. Easy to remember.

I have a long story I'll keep short. I was involved in a really bad accident and fractured two vertebrae. Those fractures caused my spinal cord to swell, no feelings to my legs, could not walk for some time. Prior to the accident I had two International Scouts that where in the process of being rebuilt from the ground up. I stared at them in my shop for over a year while trying to get back into life. To take my mind off the excruciating pain in my lower back I joined a Sun Microsystems forum during that time, in honor of my Scouts I chose that name......twenty years ago. I use it on every forum I belong to, mostly out of habit.
