The 200 TDI does not have an ECM and the injection pump to each injector is totaly mechanical and will happily run on veg oil with minor mods. The 300TDI has an ECM with a diesel pump with seperate feeds for each injector. The TD5 is a common rail diesel with a HiPressure diesel pump pressurising the common rail system and electronicaly firing the Piesotype injectors so I don't think the ECM' are compatible.

Unfortunately none of those engines can be fitted to a D2. The 200 and 300Tdi because you can't fit an engine that is older than the model year of the vehicle and the TD5 because it isn't US DOT certified.
