Sold my 2001 P38 recently, and wanting to get into a classic really bad. Any thoughts on the following vehicle? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I am not quote up to speed on common issues with the classics.
They can. inner fenders in the front, mud flap mounts front and rear, cowl, A pillar at floor board, front floor boards, B pillar at floor, windshield surround, rear outer seat belt anchors, lower tailgate hinges and upper tailgate.
Here are the pics they sent me of the undercarriage. Obviously, there is some rust. Does anyone see any major issues? Is this vehicle worth what they are asking?
OMG if you pay anywhere near $16,900 for this rig it will only prove one thing....
you have more money than brains!
Once I looked at the video I hoped this was a joke.
And ArmyRover is right, it's what they aren't showing in the pics that will tell the tale. For for example, as mentioned the upper tailgate won't close on the drivers side because its rusted like the passenger side. Look at the pic, that bubbling is from the rust that is coming from the inside out.
And that's an easy fix/replacement, but at this price this RR should be near perfect.
The problems are on and on and I looked at this for only a few minutes. And yes, I currently own a few RRC's and have had many others over the years.
RRC’s are selling for $15-20k prices right now. Mileage and condition play a part in how high but even one’s with “character” are selling for at least $10k.
