I bought an LED underhood strip to put on my 2015 evoque pure. a guy at the shop said i shouldnt install it as it may cause a power issue with the computer. does that sound right to you or do you have an idea of who i can ask. thanks

 

How does it wire in?

If it shuts off when hood is closed, how would that be a problem?

 

it doesnt shut off when the hood is closed. it would come on when i start the car via the acc or something that only gets power when the car is running. the directions say to tie into a fuse but the shop said that could cause a feed back and mess up the computer

 

Wire a inline on/off switch.

When you open the hood, turn it on when you need it.
