Default Air conditioner problem.

My wife's 2015 evoque is having intermittent air conditioner problems. On short trips of 50 miles no problem but longer trips it sometimes happens.
it will work fine and then stop blowing air from the vents. Shut it down for a while and it will work again.
I can hear the fan running strong but nothing out of the vents.
Is this a freezing problem? What do I need to do to fix this problem?
Thanks for any help.

Sounds like blend door actuator.

Are there any codes?

The only thing we have found that works to get it going again is shutting the car or air conditioner off for a while. Would the blend door have anything to do with that?
Haven't checked for new codes. Check engine light is on and we had it in the shop and spent quite a bit of money only to be told they couldn't get it off.

There is more than likely a module that controls it.??

You will need a Scanner that reads Land Rover codes.

Do you have an Indy Shop? ( independent land rover shop)

fyi, most regular readers don't see all Land Rover codes, and can't clear them.

I bought the Launch CRP 909, which now is the crp919 I believe.

There's one about 100 miles away.
Really hot today and made a 60 mile round trip and no problems. Just on longer trips it seems to arise.

check your battery age first.

I know, Auto zone says its good, if it older than 3 years, change it.
