Going absolutely crazy trying to find the main camera control module unit in a 2016 RR Evoque. Looked under both driver side & passenger seats. Only a sub woofer speaker under the driver, and a power amp under the passenger. Looked behind both front kick panels. Nothing. Looked behind both sides of the rear hatch only to find a fuse block & keyless entry module on the LH side, & a sat unit & comm unit on the RH side. Have been told it might be behind the rear bumper?? Sounds crazy. Any other suggestions would be great! Would like to replace it, in order to help solve the no camera issue, but cannot find it??!?! Have no camera views, it only comes up on the dash as a camera fault. Thanks in advance for any help.

However; it looks like the same thing as I have been seeing & hearing out there, that the unit is under the passenger seat, & unfortunately it just is NOT! Not sure what to do at this point??

 

Have you removed the seat, carpet, and then the cover panel?

Yeah.. have the seat removed, pulled back the carpet. Only appears to be the TV tuner under there, I went ahead & removed it, just to make sure it wasn’t under it. But nothing. I know everything points to it should be under the seat, but it just isn’t there???! Thought maybe someone already removed it, & never got around to replacement,


but there’s no open extra lead connections under there either

 

Call a dealer. Ask the parts department to look it up and tell to cost and location on vehicle.
