Hello all. I'm undecided between the Discovery Sport and the Evoque for overlanding with my girlfriend. I'm looking around ~50k-60k miles. I have a few questions though;

• Red flags when buying used?
• Should I buy from a JLR Dealer or used dealer?
• Long term reliability?
• Power train reliability?
• What aftermarket support is available?
• Costs of ownership?

I'm not a gear head, or familiar with JLR. So anything helps.

Just google "Evoque Problems" There is a laundry list of issues with these cars. You are rolling the reliability dice for a great looking car. If you buy one make sure you have a bumper to bumper or CPO warranty. I wouldn't touch one of these things without one.
