2012 calendar reset and possibly more
About a year ago the CLOCK and CALENDAR would constantly need to be reset correctly to the time. never bothered to fix
then the gearbox fault error happened
spend $4000 to fix gearbox fault
still have gear box fault
but the thing that annoys the crap out of me is the thought that the CLOCK keeps time, but the CALENDAR changes to a default value once or so a few months.
my twisted brain thinks.. a cmos backup battery stores the info, and also the values for the transmission transducers. without it working, they never fully "reset"
is there a CMOS battery somewhere in the bowls of the RR like in a desktop computer?
any thoughts? bear in mind I can do 99% of things mechanically and electrically, but lack any diagrams/manuals.
