AMK compressor replacement "toggle ecu fuse"
Good day--
My vehicle is a 2012 L322 5.0sc, 106000 miles.
I just finished installing a new Arnott compressor and relay in place of my AMK unit. Once everything energized the compressor ran for a long time and blew off the output hose that goes into the valve block, and I assumed (hopefully not incorrectly) that I needed to flash my Arnott compressor.
I used my IID tool start a flash to "AMK" and the procedure appeared to be progressing. After a minute or two the words "Toggle ECU Fuse" flashed on my display for a moment. According to the IID manual you just need to pull and replace the fuse, but I can't figure out which fuse it is. So far I have pulled and replaced glove box fuse 10, and cargo area fuse box #5, 10 (relay), 13, and 22. I don't see any in the engine compartment that are marked for suspension either.
After about an hour, my IID tool was still flashing red but there is no control on my dash any longer for the tool. I pulled the IID tool from the port and now I have a state of half-flash. My dash shows a red suspension fault/max speed 30mph warning, and my suspension display shows red bars on all four corners. The manual states that the recovery process is the to restart the flash, but I just end up at the same "toggle ECU fuse" message an I haven't found one that moves the process along yet.
I have also done a hard reset on the battery (cables off terminals for 10 minutes, short the cables to each other, back on battery) but it hasn't impacted the issue. Starts and runs fine, just trying to get through the flash.
Does anyone have any advice on moving this along? I am I barking up the wrong tree with the suspension fuses and need to try others? Am I just missing one?
Thank you in advance for any advice you have. I have an email in to GAP too but I don't expect an answer till they open again on Monday.
