Default Charging System Issues

RR slowly loses power while turned on until it eventually dies. First I replaced the alternator because volt meter showed that the battery showed only 12.5 volts when vehicle was powered on. With new alternator got the volts up to 13.6-14 so figured everything was fixed but then the truck started dying again after about 20 minutes of operating. Put the volt meter back on and watched it for awhile and realized that while the volts started at 13-14, the volts slowly started dropped until they fell below operating range. So next I figured it was parasitic draw and amp reader showed 3 amps being drawn. I pulled fuses until I got the amp load down to .6 amps, which from what ive read is still high. But then I let the truck sit for a couple days and it didn't lose any voltage. So I started it again but the same issue occurred. So I have a few questions before I continue digging through wiring.

1. Is it possible for parasitic draw to suck out more power than the alternator is producing?
2. Is it possible for some sort of parasitic draw to only be activated with the truck powered on?

Default LR322 charging issue

Hi Danny, I have exactly the same problems after having also replaced the alternator. Did you ever get to the root of your problems? Thanks Warren
