So I’ve inherited this 2008 HSE and I don’t have a service history on it from 2019-2020 but it starts fine engine sounds strong. It was parked for some time and discovered some Transmission oil and filter inside the truck. It shifts fine but only moves in REVERSE and not DRIVE. I have codes related to gear shifting P0735, 0736, 0730, 0783 and the main one is P0741 torque converter clutch solenoid - circuit performance or stuck off. What should I do? Have the transmission fluid serviced first and check valve body? truck has 230K miles but it was serviced at the dealership until 195K miles according to carfax. I do want to keep it since I didn’t pay anything for it .
