Default NEED Purchase Advice - 1-Owner 2006 RR HSE, 156k miles

My wife and I have been looking at buying a LR for years, and may have found the one. It is a single-owner vehicle, and the carfax shows routine maintenance, at least 1-2 times per year. Listed below is the work the seller told me has been done on the car (as well as some gaskets replaced, etc.).

- 156k miles
- brand new tires
- regular oil changes
- suspension done on front/back
- ignition lock replaced
- fuel pump replaced
- alternator assembly replaced
- fuel injection system flushed
- air induction system cleaning
- water cross over replaced (apparently an expensive investment)

I have an OBD reader and plan to check the vehicle when we go for a test drive.

Is there anything else I should check on?

Thanks!
Ed

What does "suspension done" mean?

Good question - that's a cut and paste from the seller. I'll ask.
Thanks!

He said the air suspension was replaced at ~100k miles, but not converted to traditional coils.

Good answer! Good luck!

If I recall correctly the 06 was the BMW engine, The later models with the Jag engine are said to be better. My brother bought an '11 last year and is pretty happy with it.

I see alot of red flags here... 1) any Rover with over 100k miles 2) relying on carfax 3) trusting what the seller is saying without any receipts to back up their claims.
