Default New design of Height sensors

Hi all, the drivers side height sensor on my Wife’s Range Rover started to act up so I ordered a new one from Atlantic British the design has changed since 2007 and when I fitted it it looks and installs differently to the old one and does not look right, the bottom bolt now comes in back to front not front to back does anyone know if this is correct? On another note I asked a few people who have swoped out a sensor and was told that it is not required to recalibrate the EAS but the Range Rover is now far from level so guessing I need to recalibrate with a GAP Tool.
Any comments would be great.

Here is the sensor fitted front drivers side does it look correct?

Crazy how much different the L322 suspension looks from the LR3. Typically you don't need to recalibrate for just a sensor. With that one being as different as you described I can imagine it would be out of wack though. No idea on the redesign of the part though sorry
