No Audio After Rain Storm - Popping Noise At Startup
Hello Friends, looking for some guidance on an issue with my Sound Amp (HK Logic 7), vehicle is 2008 L322 HSE.
After a super heavy overnight rain, following morning I unlocked the car and got in (no ignition yet) but as the bus awake happened, I hear several quick "popping" noises of various loudness from the rear area speaker group.. almost a low frequency "fire-craker" like sounds in clusters. Popping noise went away, turned ignition ON and head unit ON and I heard several additional popping noises (lower in loudness and duration) and when the head unit came on, there was no audio from all audio sources (FM/ Sat Radio, CD Changer)... all audio is gone and also no navigation announcements.
The optical ring seemed in tact, I can switch to CD Changer and Phone system, Sat. Radio etc.. but no audio. Here's what I did:
Meantime: does anyone have any recommendation to isolate? is is a dead amp? liquid intrusion though the harness (that would suck royally) is something I dont think I can handle.. too much labor, too many places to check.

- I checked fuse compartment behind the glove box, I could feel slight moisture there and around the area but all fuses were in tact. There are 3 5-Amp fuses there with a "radio" icon, I check them - good
- Checked ALL fuses in the right-rear fuse compartment area, even ones not relating to audio applications.. all were good.
- Inspected the left-rear compartment where all the infotainment ECUs are, the sounds amp I unplugged and replugged and still no audio.
- The few speakers I inspected, I put 9v DC on a few of them (the ones I was able to access).. and I would hear the expected speaker POP and cone moves forward.
- Tried to visually inspect Amplifier connectors for any signs of liquid and I cannot see anything.. but that doesn't mean there's no liquid intrusion wicking somewhere.

were you able to diagnose where figure it out? I’m having the same issues after a heavy rain and wet streets too.
