Towing with an L322?

Does anyone else have any input regarding towing with an L322? There's certainly more to towing capability than "it's a full size V8 SUV". The 4.4 is a nice V8 but it's not terribly powerful. Are the brakes up to the task, and at what towing weight? Is the transmission capable of towing 5-6000 lbs. as I don't think it has a trans cooler (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm considering using it to tow an open trailer and car totaling around 5000 lbs. I know it's rated for 7700 lbs., but it's never advisable to tow the maximum capacity. I've towed with a Chevy Suburban in the past, but never with a Range Rover.
Any additional input would be appreciated, especially the weight you're towing and your experience/advice.
Thanks.

Yes it has a transmission cooler, and more than enough to pull what you’ve posted. And for the comment about not being advisable about pulling max towing weight, you’re definitely wrong there. That’s the maximum recommendation by manufacturer typically minus trailer brakes. With a proper set up you can easily pull more. Seriously, you’re not going to hurt the car pulling that far under. I pulled more than you’re wanting to pull with my old X5 and that was rated to 6k pounds. If you’re that afraid of the RR, and don’t even know that it has a trans cooker, then maybe you really are better off in that Suburban.
