My new-to-me '08 RR HSE has a trailer hitch which appears to be factory. But there is no electrical plug-in connection for a trailer. Is this normal? Was the connection an additional option?
I want to have the connection installed, so is there anything in particular an installer would need to know or watch out for?

You can by it online at Atlantic British or via dealership. They are expensive at $500+. But you can install yourself and save money. Several youtube videos on how to.
