Default 2016 TD6 longevity

Buying a 2016 HSE with 85k on the clock. I am a little concerned about the high miles. I am a Powersrtoke 7.3 owner with +300k without any issues.

Plan is to remove DFP and EGR. How are these motors long term? Anyone have one with some miles on it.

Haven’t seen to many problems posted on that motor or posts about it. So if it’s the same one that is used in the LR3/RRS there are a couple common issues with them but overall they seem to be pretty durable.

Today's diesel powered vehicles will not enjoy the longevity the older ones did due to the overly complex emission systems, as well as the fact they just are not engineered to last.
It's not just Range Rover, it's the whole industry. I truly believe they want you looking for a new car every 4-5 years.

Hey @findre How has your td6 been running? I'm looking at buying a 2016 td6 with 64k miles on it. Any issues you have been contending with?
