It looks like there are a few ins and outs on the RR oil spec for the Diesel...
I've been running different Liquimoly spec oils in everything and love the way it makes engines literally run quieter. Typically their specs exceed everything higher end manufacturers recommend, they do make diesel oil made for DPF technology, I am looking at a 5W-40 low SAPS that sounds like it might be good.

I spent a lot of time trying to look for an oil thread so as not to be redundant, but didn't see any

 

Spec is 5W-30 ACEA-C1. The higher viscosity (40 v 30) will affect/increase the oil pressure in your engine causing the oil pump to work a little harder, as well as the other engine components that drive the pump. While that impact will most likely be minimal in the short run, over 200K miles, the incremental wear on components might become an issue. The ACEA-C1 spec is important due to the low SAPS requirement you mentioned, among other things. I’ve found it difficult to find it off-the-shelf in the US, but seems more readily available in the EU. I believe ACEA-C3 is more commonly found in the US.

 

It looks like the LiquiMoly 4600 5w-30 is designed with DPF in mind, I've seen where others have settled on that as well.
