Help dealing with dealer repair and warranty
Have a 2017 Land Rover I took into the dealership because the car was making funny noises at 50MPH and greater with a warning that would come on periodically that would say "reduced traction". The dealer diagnosed the transfer case as being the problem and said the repair will be $7,500. They said it would not be covered under warranty because the tires are incorrect size. The tires are 285/40R22 and they said they have to be 275/40R22, and because the tires are 285 thats what possibly damaged the transfer case. I bought this car from a different Land Rover dealership with these tires on the vehicle. This seems completely insane that they are trying to get out of warranty coverage because of the tires.
