2021 Westminster. There is a strange whistle that is quite annoying. I took it to the dealer who said it was the fan from the Heads Up Display that kicks on when needed and is normal. I don't believe that because 1) it always makes the noise, not just "when needed" and 2) there is no way a sound like this is normal. I have plenty of friends with the same car that don't have this sound.

I have attached a video where the sound is clearly audible. This was taken with the camera in the HUD well and it does appear that it could be coming from there. But this can't be normal. Has anyone ever heard this before?

 

I realize I'm replying to a post from January, but I just signed up with LR forums.
Interestingly my 21 Westminster does make a fan whine noise inside to dash, very similar to a computer fan, it does become pretty audible on hot days. Mine has HUD, however my MY17 had HUD as well and never heard the fan running inside the dash.
Honestly having owned Range Rovers for the past 26 years minor electrical gremlins don't faze me any more
