Yes, it is unfortunately. And it could be longer. Sadly, the options you want and the price you get at time of ordering are not guaranteed as Land Rover can and will change things at their discretion with no notice to the customer nor the dealer. This is not right but it is what it is. With the economy heading south, there will likely be cancellations or not picked up orders, so my suggestion is to work with your dealer and get on their call list in such an event. Dealers are not happy with the way Land Rover is handling Range Rover orders as it is causing them to lose customers.

Thanks for the info. So I called the dealer we’ve gotten our RR and Velar from previously. They have 2 open spots for 2024…..at $20K over MSRP. Plus mandatory $3K for ceramic coat.

No thanks.

She entertained another brand but in the end I know she wont like it as much as the RR. And the last thing I’m gonna do is buy something just to buy it.

Them I called a dealer a little further South (New Haven CT) and put down $5K on an MSRP order. The wait time is what it is. He told me late next summer so we’ll see. I’m not holding my breath She obviously doesn’t “need” a new car so the wait is not a huge deal. Disappointing to her but delays me writing a big check

I put down a $5K deposit for a PHEV allocation hold in Sept ‘22 expecting sometime in early 23.

Dealer called with an allocation in June 23 and told me that if I wanted the PHEV I would have to upgrade to the ATB as that is all that was coming to the US. I asked if they would have another PHEV soon and they said later in 23 so I asked for that one given the slightly updated interior (buttons) on the ‘24 models. So I passed on the June allocation expecting a call to place the order in a quarter or two.

I was looking forward to the ordering process and watching the build - but the dealer called a few days ago and told me it would be delivered next week! Oh well.

So I ended up at a little over a year from demand to fulfill. (and $20+k more than the SE that I originally ordered).

LR has increased the production of Range Rovers significantly lately especially the PHEV models and the wait times are less than 6 months right now.
