Question Removing the Rear Seat Entertainment System

I have a new 2024 Range Rover Autobiography and it came with the Rear Seat Entertainment System. The screens protrude too much and I would like to have them removed. I realize there will be a "hole" in the back of the front seats where the mounting bracket attaches, but I can make a plastic cover using 3D printing that will cover that.

The question is: How do you remove the Rear Seat Entertainment screens and brackets?

I checked with a dealer and they said, "no, we can't remove them." But I've heard from another dealer that they could be removed.

Anyone have experience with this? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I do not have any experoence with the removal process. I am sure they can be removed, but make sure it does not affect any of the related electrical components.

Since I didn't find anything online that could help with the details, I figured it out and made my own video on how to remove the rear seat entertainment system. Should work for all later Range Rover models. Hope this helps those inclined to have the rear seat screens removed. I've updated this video to include a section on how I covered up the "hole" left by the removal of the screens. See below video.

Thank you for sharing the great detailed video. Look forward to seeing what you come up with to cover up the gaps. Great job!

Did you have issues with the front screen throwing off warnings and/or errors after the removal?

No, I had no problems or error codes after the removal of the screens.
