After searching extensively and finding people asking what the "new hack" is to disable the seriously-annoying seat belt chime/beep/alarm in the new model, I just confirmed on my 2022 First Edition P530 this method works 100%. I hope this is helpful.

NOTE: Wearing your seatbelts is important as we all know :-)

• Obtain an ODB/DIAG dongle/tool that lets you write changes
• Go to MultiCAN-717 Front Belt Minder (for the front seats) and MultiCAN-737 Rear Belt Minder (for the back seats)
• Change the value(s) to "Beltminder Fully OFF"
• Apply Changes, let the vehicle reboot etc. and the annoying sound(s) are gone

Interesting. Is this the same annoying beep for when the driver's door is open? I'd like to have that one turned OFF forever for sure. And could you share some more info on what tool you're using, thanks.

 

different ECUs and settings. I'm using the GAP IIDControl app with the OBD device from https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/shop/. Not cheap but it is the best.

 

Thank you, I've sent them an inquiry about features. At their order page's "Select Model" drop-down menu the L460 option is not available.
