Apresiate the reply, still pretty veggue to me though.
Just bought my first range rover earlier in the month 98 P38 hse, converted on coils. I do all the work my self and have given it a fairly close look over. All for hearing from those with experience, what personally costs you 2k a year on it?

 

Hi, welcome here. Dave estimated $2K/year if you don’t do all the work yourself. I’ve had mine 4 1/2 years and if I hadn’t done all the work myself it would have easily cost that, though the maintenance had been a little neglected when I got it. Also, I’m still on EAS, which is probably cheaper than coils for parts only, but if I had paid someone labour to sort it all out, it would have been more expensive.
I’ve been driving 4 1/2 decades and I’ve never had a vehicle I like driving as much as the P38, on or off road.
