Default 2016 Radio 'greyed out' and silent

Hello ... new here, hopefully someone can advise.

My radio is sometimes 'greyed out' on the screen and all audio is silent. I can switch it off at the ****, and it then acknowledges it's off on the screen, but when I switch it back on, all radio options are greyed out and it's silent. I can't switch inputs between DAB and FM etc., and there's no sound. It acknowledges the volume up and down, but nothing coming out.
It's a 2016 Sport Autobiography with the dual screen TV.

Strangest thing is, I drive it, park up, come back 30 mins later and all is OK. It only seems to be when it's been left for a day or two.
Very strange. Any advice appreciated.

thanks.

Time to completely reboot the car, take off the negative and positive cables for 15 minutes, and reinstall.

Did you find a cure? - I have just got the same problem but mine seems to be permanent greyed out Audio menu and no sound.
