hey everyone,
I am replacing a camshaft sensor on my 2008 range rover sport with the 4.4 v8 on bank B and notice that there is a extrusion in the cylinder where the sensor goes. It looks like it damage the old sensor when it was in and dont want to damage the new sensor getting it in. Anyone know if that extrusion is meant to be there?

 

Did you ever get this replaced? Were you getting a DTC code to know to replace it?

 

i have the bank 2 a circuit sensor issue on my 2016 range rover, i have looked all over and i think bank 2 is the drivers side, but i dont really see anything stating
which sensor is the intake or "A" sensor. i should have ordered two of them and replaced both!
