Default Engine system fault

Have this fuel problem with 2007 L320 V8 diesal , overtaking and engine loses power.
Fault lies with P000E -00. Fuel Volume regulator control exceeded learning limit.
So after some research , there is a VOLUME CONTROL Valve on the pump ,. Can anyone help please, has anyone experianced this fault.

I had that problem twice on my garage so far and the solutions were :
1.Re-configured the powertrain control module and did a fuel system re-adaptation
2.We wrote a different file on the PCM that we knew it had no problems and it turned out to be a faulty PCM software/script in the end of the day
if these do not work then you need to replace the oil pump, replace the fuel volume regulator, replace the fuel volume sensor or repair the wiring to the fuel volume regulator.

When you say my own Garage , would that be you run a Garage and did this and what diagnostic was this done on please.
You see I had just bought this car and it lost power when overtaking, on my way home! So pulled in and restarted, hasn't happened since, but left this fault and no matter how many times you clear it, it comes up again. Car runs well meantime.
I have since learned that the vehicle was remapped by L/R software. The mapping was performance tune. Your experience tells me something. The garaged used Autologic , that's why I'm asking.

Why would you need to change the oil pump and where is the volume regulator and volume sensor.I suspect the mapping may have upset the settings on fuelling..
If you get a chance I need to talk further. Cheers Pat

we just ran a normal diag test the same code came up and the 2 solutions worked perfectly fine and we never resorted to part changes. Now you said your car had some re-mapping so that can also explains a lot but in my case we never work with tuned cars because that type of stuff is not so popular over here so yeah forgot about the tune part. Try and write an original file in you PCM and if you still got problems then the tune might have done some damage.

Thanks for that, yeah the tuning was done with the last owner but then sold the car back to garage that did it. Then I came along!

So that might be my option to remap with standard.
Thanks again will update later.

OK , I think the fault lies with the inlet manifold , its cracked , any guides out there to replace would be useful.
Regards Pat

Oh well that will be a No then. RRS has been rebuilt now twice , had a leak off pipe not quite home! Still not happy with it so further investigations needed.

This would be the problem , I think , others are a cosequence of it .

Anyone out there please, I have just fitted a new inlet manifold and I get these faults after the rebuilt , I tried to erase on Gap but its not happening . I have checked all the plugs I had disconnected but nothing obvious there either. Sorry about the size of pics ,I don't know how to resize.

My pics are so big I couldn't find a space to write something LOL.
Some good news and some bad ! Fuse 37 cleared the faults in the pictures. Bad news is I still have the P000E-00(2F) CODE , does seem to be one CODE I cant help with on here.
Although the car is running a lot smoother.
