Default Help! Blew my engine

My 2012 range rover sport went from $20k to zero without notice when cylinder 2 blew a bearing. The dealer is telling me the car is worth scrap? What should I do? Just the tires are worth 3k. Light assemblies etc a fortune! Does anyone pay proper prices to salvage these things?

You should post in just one sub forum, not all of them.

Option 1: find a good used engine to swap in and keep it
Option 2: part it out yourself (if you have storage space and need more $)
Option 3: sell it whole as-is on the forums (not to a junk yard)
Option 4: get in the Christmas spirit and donate it to charity

sucks - good luck :-/

Used engine swap it in and continue to enjoy. Unfortunately that is a pretty salty option.
