Default Limp mode after water pump replacement

I took my 2013 range sport for an engine leak repare and was told it was the water pump. After the pump was changed the car went into limp mode. The mechanic has been sending me these messages and codes. Kindly help me make sense out of it.

Text 1: Gas pedal sensor circuit issue.

Text 2: I have tried another pedal sensor and throttle body but seems that there is a short in the circuit in wiring or the engine control itself.

Text 3: Good morning, it turns out to be short in the wiring harness on the driver side engine compartment that needs to repaire.

Text 4: Hi, I found and ordered a used engine control which should be here by Monday and will plug it in to see if it works although it might not be able to start the car because of a different vin number assigned to the used unit but at least try it out and never know if works or not.
