Rear Seat Latch Repair:
Well if finally happened to me, went to release the rear seat back and the release handle flew off into my hand. It had cracked, and no longer would stay fastened to the release lever metal arms. I took it inside once I got home, and I super glued back the split ends. Then I used some 1/2 heat shrink which fit perfectly around the arm. I then used a mini torch and lightly applied heat to get the heat shrink to tighten up around the plastic arm. Once it cooled, I went outside, and it locked into place and seems good to go until the next time it decides to have an issue. I had the 1/2 heat shrink laying around, but it only cost me 3.99 for a pack of 6 pieces.
Figured I'd post this quick fix for anyone else having issues with broken rear seat release lever handles.
