Default Extended Warranty Advice

I'm considering buying a CPO 2018 RRS w/ 20k miles. They quoted around 4.2k for the 3year/100m extended warranty (it's also still under factory warranty for 8 more months). Is it worth buying the extended warranty? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Default Warranty vs CPO

Make sure that you are getting a CPO, not just extended warranty. Is a big difference. As for the price, IF it is CPO, absolutely. Bear in mind that some items are not covered. For example, rubber hoses. You may think, not a big deal, but say your engine seize due to ...lack of antifreeze, lost through that hose.... then, you are hosed - they will not cover it. Read the EXCLUSIONS on CPO, and or Warranty, and especially servicing conditions.
