Issues with 2020-2022 GEN 2 Coolant lines
Daughter is looking at a smoking deal on a 2021 Range Rover Sport with 60k miles. Looking at getting the JLR supplied 5 year bumper to bumper warranty which will cover any issues.
Main issue is the title has Lemon Law Buyback on it. It was lemon law'ed out of California, bought back by LR, sent to the New Jersey LR facility to find all issues. Evidently there was actually a TSB on the coolant lines to the Turbo, Cylinder Head Vent line, DEGAS hose (reservoir tank).
I am finding it is very easy to declare a vehicle "Lemon Law'ed" in California. Basically the previous owner drove the RRS for 59k then was able to get their money back towards a new Land Rover product. (NICE Wish I could pull that one). Evidently because the original owner complained of coolant leaks more than 3 times they were able to cover under the California Lemon Law even after the LR warranty expired on the vehicle within 1 year of the 4 years 50K warranty.
The truck was completely went thru by LR Corp or whatever they call the facility in NJ and they conducted the 63K Service, replace all coolant hoses, Replaced all Brake pads and Brake lines, Batteries, replaced all remote batteries, Wipers, replace all spark plugs and V-Belts.
Ran thru a CPO inspection but only thing that did not pass was Lemon Law Title.
CarFax shows nothing but routine maintenance EXCEPT the Lemon Title.
Since we are getting it with a 5 year actually JLR bumper to bumper exclusionary warranty for less than what a similar 2021 RRS HSE with 60k miles are selling for without the extended warranty, would you guys call this a go?
Are 2021 GEN2 RRS known for coolant leaks?

Decided against any vehicle with Lemon Buy Back titles. Found out that not all lenders will lend on these cars (Pentagon Fed / USAA / etc) and it causes insurance rates to be higher. Plus, we drove as 2019 with a V6 Supercharge and wow, its definitely a strong engine.
