Just picked up a new D2 and the previous owner swapped over D1 wiper arms so they could mount more universal wiper blades. I actually prefer the D2 blades. It's a popular upgrade for D2 owners to swap D1 arms, so figured simply trading with someone might work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
