Default A couple of Bosch Short Blocks F/S

I have two Land Rover Bosch 4.0L short blocks available. They will work with any 1999-2004 Land Rover Discovery Series 2 or any 1999-2002 Range Rover. They consist of the block, crank, pistons, connecting rods and cam. Either one is an excellent building block for an engine for either of these trucks mentioned above. The block is the same regardless of it's use as a 4.0L or 4.6L. So you can use just the block to rebuild a bad 4.6L using your old crank, pistons and rods or you can opt for installing a hotter cam to get more power out of your 4.0L engine.

The first one of these two short blocks came out of a one owner 2000 Land Rover Discovery that lived most of its life on Nantucket. The engine had 89K miles on it and ran like a top. Rust on the chassis is what killed this truck. The transmission has been sold but I do still have the transfer case if anyone is interested.

The second 4.0L short block came out of my personal daily driver. It had 116k on the engine when, thanks to rust, the rear bumper literally broke off the truck! It was a shame because besides the awful rust on the frame (it was a truck that came originally from upstate NY and wouldn't pass inspection due to holes in the back of the frame) the truck was in mint condition. I have the transfer case from this truck as well.

$250 first come first served. Pick up in CT or you pay the freight.
