I'm not on his back. I stopped critiquing Robert's work a while back. Some, including Sam I Am, just can't leave it alone. I told Sam about a bumper that I thought met the criteria set forth, that being the TerraFirma. I did so to be nice because it sounded like he was having difficulty finding one. I PM'd Sam out of courtesy for Robert. I NEVER told him to not buy Robert's bumper. And Alex, you know all about etiquette, don't you "Mr I'll sell you my flares for $10 less".

Robert, my hat off to you. You have handled the mobs, my critique, and even my good natured ribbing(Bubba Gump) like true professional. Cheers!

I love the look of the skid plate when its built in the bumper on a D1. Yes I know this isnt one. Think the shipping would kill me?

That bumper will be a pain on the trail. While it looks sweet it hangs very low. And you better greyhound it!

we could have it freighted i can get a rough estimate for what the freight would be but it would just have to go to somewhere with a dock a big truck could back to. ups ground could do it if it did not have the brush bars. UPS uses a formula for shipping things. to guess i would say about 100 with no brush bars through ups and be around 150 to freight it on a pallet just like you want.

Could it be shipped lift gate delivery. Like ups freight or R&L carriers.. Those guys deliver 300 pound chairs to my shop all the time. Just a thought. . then you don't need a ramp

That's an LR3 bumper isn't it? If so, they all hang low because they have to cover up a bunch of parts.

I would think so. My arb came on a truck with a lift gate. And it was in a huge crate.

I did have to ship it to a business I think. Or maybe it was cheaper that way? It's been a few years.

Yea I dont think it needs to hang quite as low on a D1. I like the look of it extending under a bit. I also like the peak in the front not just straight across.

yeah I think a business is cheaper.. not sure why maybe they figure they'll already be going there. I'm going to have Robert ship mine to my office to save a couple bucks

Well the bumper is holding up nicely, had to pull a medium duty truck out the way, do to stalling in the middle of the road. didn't want to use reverse that much but, did what was needed at the time. Bravo Robert for something I can rely on.
