the bump looks fine, good actually.

Unless someone is ordering a bumper, screw them the options don't mean squat.

Build what your customers what and that is a bumper that doesn't cost $1000.00.
and there is a market out there for bumper without recovery point, those are the people that don't want to pay $700 for another plastic factory bumper.

and have no possible reason the be paying $1000+ for a bumper that they will probably never need.

Stock D1 bumpers are metal. Hack off the lower valence and go. Looks good, it's free, and has a good approach angle. If you're not going to have a winch mount or (decent)recovery points I can't see forking over even $5 for something that gains you nothing.

If that's a rear bumper then I think it looks fine. If it's a front bumper then no I don't think it looks good. But that's just my opinion.

Sometimes the guy making the bumpers has to educate the person buying the bumpers. In the end the BUILDER is the one associated with it.
If it were me building bumpers I would build the best looking most kick *** bumper I could. Then post pics of it. It would speak for itself as to what you're capable of.

I read these posts and I find it to be absurd, that fellow and rover owners/ members that want to be part of something only so they can tear it down. I think your missing the point o what Robert is saying. He has a talent that you do not. he can make a bumper, rock sliders, etc.. Until you your self can build something better(not buy something) maybe you should keep your negative comments to yourself. Each person has their own wants and needs, and to give them that option makes it better. I have no use for pizza size head lights hanging off a light bar, a winch is useless unless you know how to use one. most people don't, they don't have ****** blocks or pulleys in their rig either. 90% of trail trucks never see a trail, most are built for looks. If you use your truck that's great, good for you. but their is no reason to bash others because you don't like it. Chains, straps, rope, sheets. you use whatever you can to get out of a pinch. a bumper with options is a bumper that is better suited for offroad. "pretty isn't strong and chrome wont get you home."

Robert I think your doing a great job. If their where more people like you, we would have more options.

Oh and there is a really expensive bumper about 80 miles north of Las Vegas, I have no idea the name of the place cause it doesn't have one. looks like it fell off a rig and is just laying there, free for the taken.

How is it expensive if it's free?

So about how much for a EXO cage for a 110 Wagon? I could find some trouble to get into for a week. Doesn't need powder coated spray bomb is fine and easier to touch up.

Oh and the front bumper is galvanized not aluminum foil Actually it's a TerraFirma now with a Simbars brush guard modified to fit.

It is photogenic, doesn't look as nice in person lol.

It's changed a bit since that pic to with a snorkle, TerraFirma winch bumper and simbars brush guard.
