My wife bought a 2001 Discovery SE two years ago just as an available vehicle, not as a collector. It's had a variety of issues and is currently experiencing several leaks and electrical issues. I can send a recent report from a local Euro/Import mechanic here in Augusta, GA to those interested.

We bought it at $5,600, and repairs were assessed to cost $4,500; diagnostic alone was $800+. It's not worth it to us to repair it.
