Is the Blaupunkt CD player plug-and-play for a '99 Discovery Series II with the Harman Kardon stereo?

Aftermarket stereo's are never plug-n-play with factory units.

 

According to the OP, it's an OEM unit from a Disco G4. My question is whether or not it's directly compatible with a '99 Disco Series II.

Oh, ok. I thought that you were going to buy a aftermarket stereo from like Best Buy or something.
I think the Harmon Karden unit would be better than the Blaupunk. The G4 units look like "fleet audio". Stereos that are basic in function and sound but built to take lots of abuse.
I am a truck driver and that is the type of unit that comes in heavy duty trucks. Panasonic, Pioneerare just a few of the brands that make fleet audio.

 

Ok, just looked at the stereo, it is "fleet audio", keep the Harmon Kardon unit, unless it doesnt work.

I'm selling my Landy G4 OE Stereo, which by the way comes equipped with THE FAMOUS WEATHER BAND capabilities. It picks up the weather conditions, ski condition or surf conditions of any area you're in... it's really kinda cool! The music just rocks out of this thing!

Also selling my G4 rear tail light guards, G4 leather Auto tranny shift ****, rubber 4x4 ****, the one just above the tranny shifter and the black OE rubber hand brake handle.
