Default LT77 for sale

I have a transmission available. It is a 5 speed with about 75,000 miles on it. It is located near Charleston WV. Price is $750. Will consider offers.

Long stick or short stick? It might have more interest on defendersource.com, as lots of defenders have LT77, but most defenders will have long stick and most discos will have short stick. I'm pretty sure they can be converted from one to the other. Also, later LT77 are supposed to be stronger than early ones.... so people like me that have a wimpy 2.5NA engine and want to upgrade to a 200tdi, will usually be looking for a later suffix transmission eventually. Or a stubby R380.

I was trying to use the images I posted on Britishv8.org, but I guess that isn't allowed. This doesn't show a way to upload, but the transmission came out of a TR7. Does that make it a short stick? I believe the suffix is C.

Oh. I don't know.

There might be some photos here to help: LT77 - Ashcroft Transmissions

Did the TR7 have a rover v8?

Not a V8, but the only difference was the bell housing.
