Default Range Rover Power Steering Pump 4.2

I bought this from an outfit a year or so ago as a replacement for my pump in my 95' range rover classic 4ith the 4.2 engine. It is in great shape and was out of a very low mileage vehicle. It is guarenteed to be in 100% working condition. I paid $350 for it and just want it gone. Ill take $175 plus shipping. The cheapest one on ebay right now is $375.

FYI, that pump is the same one used in the DI from 1994-1999. If you actually paid $375 for a used one, my heart goes out to you but the fact is, you can pick up used power steering pumps for these trucks for well under $100 with a warranty.
Cheers,
Paul

Thanks for looking out.

If that's the pump you actually have, it is not for your '95. The '95 used an entirely different pump made by ZF. I have one of the pumps you have in your link, from the '94 I just finished parting, currently listed on eBay for $79.99. It will fit models from '87-'94, is used, not remanufactured but comes with a warranty.

Like I said before, if you paid $375 for a used one, you paid way too much. Plus, if you intended on using it in your '95 it would not have worked. If the seller claimed it would, he was flat out wrong. This is the kind of stuff that gives legitimate sellers on eBay heartburn. I hate it when people call eBay names like "FleaBay" and "SleezeBay" because there are many good, hard working sellers on that site who do know what they're talking about.

Yea, thanks for the info. I bought it locally, and wasn't as resourceful as I am now... And it was out of a 94' but they told me it would work in my 95' (I see now you were correct, they are different pumps). I paid $350, not $375 but compared to what the dealer wanted for one, I though this was cheap.
Again, thanks for all the great info. I'll put this one on ebay and start at $.99 with no reserve.
Lesson learned.
