@ acamato, my apologies as I miss understood you. Definitely add more bars and feet if I go bigger.

Default Thule gutter mounts

Will the Thule 8'' high gutter mounts fit on the discovery? or do I need 11"?

I don't think 8" will fit. The OP's photo shows the 11" installed. I have the 11" installed on mine. I will measure how much room there is below the load bar.

@ 2004DISCO- I love the rack, the only issue I have had is that my MPG dropped with the faring on, easy to remove and its back to where it was prior. My buddies at work are jealous my rig looks better too.

Yeah it was ine sweet setup! Im still trying to get my safari rack finished but its been raining here for 3 weeks strait! Lol

Thats the Yakima MegaWarrior. The OP's rack was the LoadWarrior which is 44 x 39

That is awesome. I ordered my mega warrior yesterday and also received my ladder yesterday which I plan to install today. Now all I need is Thule 11" rain gutter towers and Thule load bars...

Any recommendations where I can get one cheap?

Check the forums. They pop up every once and a while. I am in the opposite position as you. I have the load bars and towers. I am looking at baskets. I am leaning toward a Rocky Mounts 14'er. I can get a discount it through promotive.com.
