I received my Mega Warrior basket yesterday and it is awesome, its just what I was looking for. I am still looking around for Thule 11" towers and 56" load bars. They are too damn expensive to buy brand new... Will keep looking

Did you cut the bars down to make them 56" ? I have 60" bars, thought about cutting them down a bit so they dont hang out so much...

Thule makes the load bars in 50", 58", 65" & 78" lengths.

I have the 58" bars and they don't stick out that far past the towers.

Dimensions
The load bars, although called Square Bars are actually rectangular measuring 30mm by 20mm/1.375 by 0.875 inch (1-3/8 by 7/8 inch). The following is the exact length of each load bar (50" - 49.6", 58"-57.5", 65"-64.2" & 78"-78.7") The two end caps add an additional 22mm/0.875 inch (7/8 inch) to the total bar length.

Yes when I bought them I cut them down or they look stupid lol unless you really need to carry very wide things... I considered cutting even more but its hard steel and was a PITA to cut in first place! lol
