To salvage or not to salvage.

To salvage or not to salvage.
1999 Disco 2, 115k miles
Well My disco finally craped out on me. I knew it was coming.
Now I have to replace my front drive shaft, as well as the transmission. (the damaged driveshaft took it out while driving) And wouldn't you know the front driveshaft on my truck is in the biggest demand which means is most expensive.
So now I'm faced with the choice of:
1. Fixing it and selling it. which would cost me anywhere from $1200-$1800 to fix
or
2. Part it out as is. This would just be a pain in the *** though.
Not sure my best bet is at this point,
Either way I'm not keeping it. This thing is sucking me dry. I've had it 4 months and its been nothing but trouble. If anyone has any ideas or wants to buy let me know.
